Wir nähern uns.

Stiefelpistolen sind richtig, 19. Jhd. auch.

Ist ja eigentlich auch nicht so schwierig einzugrenzen bei Perkussionszündung. :D

Etwas konkreter: um 1850 herum.

So - wo kommt das gute Stück denn nun her? Ideen?

Die Puffen (im Kasten mit Zubehör) waren dem neuen Besitzer übrigens 8000,- Euronen zzgl. Märchensteuer und Aufgeld wert.

Lot Nr.531

A cased pair of boot pistols

H. Anschütz and Sons in Suhl around 1850

The barrels with twelve groove rifled bores in 10 mm calibre. Underhammer percussion, folding triggers. Brass grips with finely engraved maker's mark. Both pistols have old brass solder repairs behind the trigger. Length of each: 32 cm.

In the original green velvet lined case, which is richly provided with complete accessories. Case lock plate is missing, minor damage to the veneer. 7.5 x 36.5 x 17.5 cm.
