Eine kleine Taschenpistole, könnte aus der Zeit als der Schinderhannes aktiv war stammen evt. Der brave Räuberhauptmann aus dem Hunsrück war da schon ein paar Jahrzehnte unter der Erde, als dieser Argumentationsverstärker gebaut wurde. Ich sehe einen Derringer ???? Wenn du sie so bezeichnen willst? Bringt uns aber nicht wirklich weiter. Der Begriff "Derringer" wird ja inflationär für Taschenpistolen ohne Repetiersystem verwendet. Treffer! ELG im Oval - ein Standard-Beschußzeichen der Belgier seit 1810 - stimmt auch. Kaliber .50 sorgte für hohe Überzeugungkraft. Here is a rare Belgium boot type pistol. Made ca 1840's.Has intregral cast brass barrel and frame.Has swamped style barrel.In 50 cal smooth bore.Verry tight and fully working action.Hard to find this type. (ELG. VC.) A single brass canon shape barrel with fine engraving on the side of the barrel and top plate. Trigger, trigger guard and hammer are steel. The pistol is fitted with wooden stock (grip) light colour walnut with small silver shield. Overall length 6" Barrel 3" Bore size 410 or 10mm. This pistol is in excellent original working order, a rare find and collectors item and nice display unit a pistol out of a ladies hand bag absolute a unique work of art Daß diese beiden Pistolen aus Messing gefertigt wurden, hatte, so denke ich, seinen Grund in der verdeckten Trageweise und der geringen Schußbelastung.
