    1 March 2014, Kunming, Yunnan, China. 8 knife-wielding men and women with long-bladed knives stabbed and slashed passengers, leaving 31 civilians and 4 perpetrators dead with more than 140 others injured.

    The Anne Anne Kindergarten stabbing: 3 June 1982, in a kindergarten at Sham Shui Po, a district of Hong Kong. After killing his mother and sister, and also wounding 2 other women, 28-year-old Lee Chi Hang entered the kindergarten and stabbed 34 children, 4 of them fatally, and also injured several other people, before he was arrested by police. 

    14 December 2012 between 7 and 8 a.m.: A 36-year-old villager identified as Min Yongjun stabbed 24 people, including 23 children and an elderly woman, in a knife attack at Chenpeng Village Primary School. 

    The Sagamihara stabbings: 26 July 2016 in Midori Ward, Sagamihara, Kanagawa, Japan. 19 people were killed and 26 others were injured, 13 severely, at a care home for disabled people. The suspect was a 26-year-old man, identified as Satoshi Uematsu. The attack was described as one of the worst crimes committed on Japanese soil in modern history. 

    China, 30 July 2011, An attack on Kashgar that spanned two days, in which Islamic extremists hijacked a truck, drove it into a crowd of people. They then got out of the truck and began to stab people, killing 14 and injuring 42. 

    The Nanping school massacre/stabbings, at Nanping City Experimental Elementary School in the city of Nanping, Fujian Province, China:

    A man used a knife to kill 8 children and seriously wound 5 others. The incident occurred on 23 March 2010, around 7:20 am local time. It was the first of the 2010 Chinese school attacks. 

    Just a few hours after the execution of Zheng Minsheng in neighboring Fujian Province, in Leizhou, Guangdong another knife-wielding man named Chen Kangbing, 33, at Hongfu Primary School wounded 16 students and a teacher. 

    An attacker named Wu Huanming, 48, killed 7 children and 2 adults and injured 11 other persons with a cleaver at a kindergarten in Hanzhong, Shaanxi on May 12, 2010 

    On May 18, 2010 at Hainan Institute of Science and Technolog, a vocational college in Haikou, Hainan, more than 10 men charged into a dormitory wielding knives around 2:30 am; after attacking the security guard and disabling security cameras, 9 students were injured, 1 seriously. The local men attacked the dorm in an act of revenge and retaliation against college students following conflict the previous day at an off-campus food stall in which 4 students were injured, for a total of 13. 

    On 4 August 2010, 26-year-old Fang Jiantang slashed more than 20 children and staff with a 60 cm knife, killing 3 children and 1 teacher at a kindergarten in Zibo, Shandong province. 

    8 children, all aged 4 or 5, were hurt in Minhang District, Shanghai when an employee at a child-care centre for migrant workers slashed the children with a box-cutter.  

    14 December 2012, in the village of Chenpeng, Henan Province, a 36-year-old villager stabbed 23 children and an elderly woman at the village’s primary school as children were arriving for classes.

    Akihabara massacre: 8 June 2008, in the Akihabara shopping quarter in Sotokanda, Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. At 12:33 p.m., a man drove into a crowd with a truck, killing 3 people and injuring 2; he then stabbed at least 12 people using a dagger, killing 4 people and injuring 8.

    The Franklin Regional High School stabbing: April 9, 2014, at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. Alex Hribal, a 16-year-old sophomore at the school, used a pair of 8″ kitchen knives to stab and slash 20 students and a security guard. 4 students sustained life-threatening injuries, but all survived. 

    14 July 2017: Abdel-Rahman Shaaban, a former university student from the Nile Delta region, swam from a public beach to each of two resort hotel beaches at Hurghada on the Red Sea and stabbed 5 German, 1 Armenian and 1 Czech tourists, all women, killing 2 German women. The Czech tourist died on July 27. 

    18 November 2014: 2 Palestinian men from Jerusalem entered Kehilat Bnei Torah synagogue, in the Har Nof neighborhood of Jerusalem, Israel, and attacked the praying congregants with axes, knives, and a gun. They killed 4 worshippers, critically wounded a responding Druze Israeli police officer, who later died of his wounds, and injured 7 male worshippers, one of whom never woke up from a coma and died 11 months later. 

    March 23, 2008, in the city of Tsuchiura, Masahiro Kanagawa stabbed a 27-year-old man dead and 7 others wounded. Police arrested Kanagawa, then 24, who was wanted in an earlier slaying of a 72-year-old man. The man told the investigators that he “just wanted to kill anyone”. 

    3 June 2017, London Bridge attack: A van left the road and struck a number of pedestrians on London Bridge. After the van crashed, its 3 occupants ran to the nearby Borough Market area and began stabbing people in and around restaurants and pubs. 8 people were killed and 48 were injured, including 4 unarmed police officers who attempted to stop the assailants. The 3 attackers, who wore fake explosive vests, were later shot dead by police.

    On April 9, 2013, at 11:20 a.m., Lone Star College–CyFair. 14 people were injured in a stabbing attack in classrooms on the college campus. That night, 2 remained hospitalized in critical condition. Most of the victims suffered stab wounds either to the head or neck. The weapons used were an X-Acto knife and a scalpel. 

    The Maksim Gelman stabbing spree,  February 11 to 12, 2011, in New York City, which involved the killing of 4 people and the wounding of 5 others. Maksim Gelman was arrested and pleaded guilty to the crimes. 

    On September 17, 2016, at the Crossroads Center shopping mall in St. Cloud, Minnesota. 10 people were injured, and the attacker was shot dead inside the mall by an off-duty law enforcement officer. The FBI began investigating the stabbing as a possible act of terrorism. 

    Osaka school massacre:  June 8, 2001, 37-year-old former janitor Mamoru Takuma entered the school armed with a kitchen knife and began stabbing school children and teachers. He killed 8 children, mostly aged 7 and 8, and seriously wounded 13 other children and 2 teachers.

    The Shimonoseki Station massacre, September 29, 1999, 

    Yasuaki Uwabe drove a car into the Shimonoseki Station. Exiting the car, he proceeded to stab passers-by at random until apprehended at the scene. As a result of his actions, 5 people were killed and 10 others were injured; Uwabe was arrested at the scene, and later was sentenced to death. He was executed in 2012. 

    The 2014 Taipei Metro attack was a mass stabbing spree that took place on 21 May 2014, directed at random civilians on a Taipei Metro (aka Taipei MRT) train near Jiangzicui Station, resulting in 4 deaths and 24 injuries. 

    Yang Qingpei is a Chinese man accused of the mass murder of 19 people. He confessed to killing his parents in an argument over money and then killing 17 neighbours in an attempt to cover up his crime on September 29, 2016, state media reported. 

    People have been spreading that list of “18 school shootings this year” stuff, when only one of those resulted in the deaths of 17 people. Another resulted in 2 deaths, and another resulted in 1 death, with a total of 40 injuries. Yes, guns can cause more damage. You know what else can?

    Cocoanut Grove fire, Boston, Massachusetts, US 1942, 492 dead. Deadliest club fire in history, and the second-worst single-building fire in American history (second only to the Iroquois Theatre fire, where at least 602 people died as a result of the fire, but not all the deaths were reported, as some of the bodies were removed from the scene. )

    Luoyang Christmas fire, Luoyang, Henan, China 2000, left 309 dead and 50 injured. 

    Kiss nightclub fire, Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil 2013, left 242 dead and 168 injured.

    Yiyuan Disco fire, Fuxin, China 1994, left 234 dead and 16 injured.

    Rhythm Club fire, Natchez, Mississippi, US 1940, left 209 dead and 200 injured..

    República Cromañón nightclub fire, Buenos Aires, Argentina 2004, left 194 dead and 1,432 injured.

    Beverly Hills Supper Club fire, Southgate, Kentucky, US 1977, left 165 dead and 200 injured. 

  3. Von wegen harmlos: Ein Soldat aus Mittenwald hat sich in seiner Stube eine Kartoffelkanonegebastelt und eine Salve abgefeuert. Dass es sich dabei um eine lebensgefährliche Schusswaffe handelt, musste er nun vor dem Amtsgericht, das ihn zu Sozialstunden verdonnerte, erfahren.

    So ist es recht. Pussyland mit Pussygesetzen. Knast wäre richtiger gewesen. Unehrenhafte Entlassung aus dem Dienst und Verlust der Pensionsansprüche.

    Dazu passt:

    Die aus Libyen stammende Jugendliche war am Dienstag - einen Tag nach der Entlassung ihres Bruders aus der Untersuchungshaft - mit einem Messerstich in den Oberkörper lebensgefährlich verletzt worden. Ihr Ehemann nach islamischem Recht und der Bruder wurden festgenommen.

    Gegen den Bruder läuft derzeit ein Verfahren wegen Beihilfe zur Vorbereitung einer schweren staatsgefährdenden Gewalttat. Da kein dringender Tatverdacht bestand, hatte ihn das Amtsgericht Biberach wenige Stunden vor dem Angriff auf die Schwester auf freien Fuß gesetzt.

  4. Beim Kent-State-Massaker (englisch Kent State Shootings, Kent State Massacre) wurden am 4. Mai 1970 an der Kent State University in den USA vier Studenten erschossen und neun teils schwer verletzt, als die Nationalgarde des Staates Ohio während einer Demonstration gegen den Vietnamkrieg das Feuer auf die Menge unbewaffneter Demonstranten eröffnete. Bis heute wurde niemand dafür zur Verantwortung gezogen.
