Die Kreationen von Big B sind heute noch hochaktuell und werden zigtausendfach von Jägern geführt (z.B. 7X64 oder 9,3X64). Die Gehmann-Patronen haben dagegen eher Exotenstatus (7X66 S.E., 9,5X66 S.E.). Trotzdem waren diese Konstruktionen interessant und wegweisend.
