Medizinmann Posted February 26, 2013 at 11:03 AM Share Posted February 26, 2013 at 11:03 AM Jawohl, das sollten wir unterstützen.

I'd just like to thank you all for your support in signing this petition it has been a great success so far.It is great to see people from all over the world signing this petition and showing unity with their fellow gun enthusiasts I have counted at least a dozen countries. The deadline is approaching very soon so in these last few weeks we will need to encourage as many people as we can to respond to the consultation and to sign the petition. If you have any friends sitting on the fence please do your best to try and convince them once more that this is not just about airguns but the whole future of shooting/gun ownership in Scotland/UK is at stake. If we send out a strong message now as one united voice they have to listen to us. Time to get up off the armchair and stand up and be counted. I have provided the links to the Facebook page and British Association for Shooting and Conservation's page with a detailed template on how to respond to the consultation. I would strongly encourage everyone who hasn't to E-mail a response in. It will only take 5 minutes and this is while they might ignore the petition they cannot ignore the responses. http://www.basc.org.uk/en/media/key_issues.cfm/cid/5D1AF869-D20A-446E-9564AECD44780137 https://www.facebook.com/NoToAirgunLicencingInScotland We shall not take it anymore. Thanks again everyone lets make a change happen!

Katja Triebel Posted February 27, 2013 at 12:13 AM Share Posted February 27, 2013 at 12:13 AM Die Aktion läuft mindestens noch bis 8.3 Just to let everyone know there will be a deadline of Friday the 8th of March. This deadline wont be the finish of the petition which I will keep running until the Scottish Government drop this foolish proposal. It is however the date when I will print of a hard copy of the petition to send in along with my response to the consultation. It is really important that in this final week we try to get as many signatures as we can.

Jägermeister Posted March 11, 2013 at 03:25 PM Share Posted March 11, 2013 at 03:25 PM Hi Everyone, I've printed off a hard copy of the petition to send in to the Scottish Government 13,638 signatures, 228 pages it is as thick as a phone book. In this final week i'd like to ask everyone who has not already done so to respond to the consultation. It can be done by E-mail and will only take 10 minutes. This is probably the most important weapon in fighting this unjust action. It is down to us to defend our sports no one else will do it for us. I've attached a link to BASCs website which should make responding easy. Next week I will E-mail a version of the petition in along with my own response to the consultation. I will also be sending out one final E-mail to everyone who has signed with some useful web links. Another facebook page and online blog has been started hoping to build upon the unity we have achieved and to serve as a focus point for any future actions or issues that are relevant to our sports. The Blog is: http://firearmsuk.wordpress.com/ Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Firearms-UK/599614596715256?ref=hl Once again a big thank you to everyone for helping make this petition as popular as it has been. Jägermeister Posted March 12, 2013 at 12:01 PM Share Posted March 12, 2013 at 12:01 PM Hello Everyone, Just to let everyone know that the paper copy has been posted by recorded delivery to the Scottish Parliament today and I will be E-mailing a copy along with the comments on this page to the consultation. It is very important we get as many responses into the consultation as we can protesting strongly against a licence in principal but also answering the questions contained within it. I've attached a link to the BASCs website at the bottom of the page which should make responding to the consultation very easy. It should only take ten minutes and can be done via E-mail. Please take the time to do this as the future of our sports depends on it. This should be my final message to everyone until we can declare victory. Once again I'd like to thank everyone who has taken the time to support the petition and defend our hobbies and sports. A special thank you to Conor @ BASC who has given me tremendous help. Also thanks to everyone at Countryside Alliance, SACS, SARPA, Airgun Shooter magazine, Sporting Shooter Magazine, Armbritain.com and everyone else who has helped to spread the word and show solidarity without this unity I don't think we would have achieved so much. Jägermeister Posted August 13, 2013 at 02:42 PM Share Posted August 13, 2013 at 02:42 PM Hi Everyone, Firstly I'd like to thank everyone for their continued support in this campaign and as we are drawing nearer to the petition meeting that support will be invaluable. The bad news first is that despite 87% of consultation responses against the proposal the Scottish Government has decided to ignore this and press on. The good news is that we are nearly at 16,000 signatures on the petition. However judging by the actions of the Scottish Government in ignoring the responses to the consultation we are going to have to show the strongest hand possible. It is with this in mind that I'd like to ask if everyone just try to reach just 3 more people. If we can all do this then we will easily surpass 20,000 by the 3rd of September. It is down to us to fight our corner no one else will do it for us. If you do share please ensure you send the link to our change.org page and if possible also our Facebook page. Many Thanks This message was sent by Firearms UK Scotland using the Change.org system.
