dynamite Posted January 2, 2003 at 07:54 PM Share Posted January 2, 2003 at 07:54 PM Habe eben folgende email bekommen: Opened in October 1998, http://TheFiringLine.com has gone "dormant" as of 31 December 2002. What that means is that we are no longer accepting new Registrations or Posts, though the Forums will remain available in perpetuity. Feel free to browse and search the wealth of information in these pages. Neither "gone" nor "forgotten", TFL endures in the form you see it, as a monument to responsible firearms owners everywhere. More than 4 years ago, we challenged firearms owners to prove a point...that internet Discussion Forums need not be "Chat Rooms"; that spirited debate need not include personal attack; that internet exchange need not fall to the level of lowest common denominator. Together, nearly 18,000 of us rose to exceed this challenge. Together, we provided a compendium of information on firearms, tactics, safety and political insight perhaps never before seen in one place. Together, we have educated the novice and inquirer, converted the misled, built a bond between many LEO's and Law Abiding Citizens, raised monies for worthy causes and much more. In short, TFL has truly "raised the bar". With the closing of TFL, we end a chapter...but not the book. We each now know what can be achieved in an atmosphere of free exchange, where civility, intelligence and articulation are prized and respected. We ask each of our Members to carry that tradition forward to other sites and venues. :?: :?:
Hollowpoint Posted January 2, 2003 at 08:07 PM Share Posted January 2, 2003 at 08:07 PM Tja, LEIDER ist THE FIRING LINE TOT!!!
